Very few communities around the world are connected to a piped water network. Instead, they rely on handpumps or walk for many miles every day to find water or resort to using dirty water. This regularly causes outbreaks of cholera or other diseases.

Water is the most important substance on earth and millions need clean water to survive.
Without safe and clean water to drink, these people risk dehydration, disease and, at worse, death.
Life without clean water can seem unimaginable, but for millions of people, it’s a daily reality.
The clean water a developing community desperately needs is often right underneath them. And it’s incredible how a small handpump donation can dramatically affect so many lives.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said “Providing water is the best charity” (Abu Dawud)
